Arnil Pabalan (partner)

Arnil was born in the Philippines but has lived all of his adult life in CA.  He was persuaded by his sister Rodilyn to attend beauty school back in 1987.  He was reluctant as he believed hair styling was a "woman's" career.  Arnil has since grown to love the art of hair styling and works diligently to continue his education in the industry.  He is the muscle behind the back breaking work in the salon.  Along with skills in cabinetry, decorating, painting, floor waxing managing roof leaks and electrical work, Arnil specializes in haircuts and haircolor (particularly blonds) as well as Brazilian Blowout and the new Brazilian Blowout Zero.  He was recently awarded 2011 "Best of the Beach- Best Stylist", a well deserved award!

 Rodilyn Basco-Wooldridge (partner)

Rodilyn is a Southern CA native.  She has over 23 years of hair styling experience and has had the opportunity to live, work and travel in Europe.  In 1995 Rodilyn came back to CA to style hair in Manhattan Beach. About four years later, she and her brother Arnil had an opportunity of salon ownership that accidentally fell onto their laps.  It has been a long road but one they wouldn't change for the world!  While Rodilyn's usual specialties include haircuts, haircoloring, permanent hair straighetning and Brazilian Blowout and the new Brazilian Blowout Zero, she also manages the salon's website, online marketing and social networking.  Add six kids and the ownership of a dance studio to the mix (JSDA) and you'll see the reason she works limited nights and weekends.  She is also looking for another business venture (just kidding)!

Celine Robba

Celine is a local native of Southern CA and has been with AR Salon since 2005.  She is a graduate of Paul Mitchell.  Celines specialties include: haircutting, as well as creative cutting (mowhawks etc) haircoloring, and highlighting.  Celine is one of the go-to stylists for color correction!  She is certified in Brazilian Blowout and the new Brazilian Blowout Zero.  In addition she is trained in various types of hair extensions.  Celine is a favorite among the young locals who want to add a little edge to their style.

Ashley Deniston

Ashley hails from Brighton Colorado.  She attended Aveda Institute in Denver and finished up her schooling at Paul Mitchell here in CA.  Ashley assisted for a short period but it was clear she was ready to be on her own very early on.  She has quickly built a loyal clientele in three short years.  Her specialities include: haircutting and hair coloring-highlights as well as special occasions updos for events and weddings.  Ashley is also certified in Brazilian Blowout and the new Brazilian Blowout Zero.  Ashley is fast becoming one of those stylists that are hard to get in with!

Shannon Familia

Shannon is a local- local!  Raised in Manhattan Beach, Shannon loves living and working by the beach.  She is down to earth and passionate about hairstyling and helping people achieve their best look.  She specializes in haircutting and coloring and specifically natural looking highlights (gotta have that beach living look!)  Shannon has over 20 years experience and is Vidal Sassoon trained.  While your appointments may take longer than usual, Shannon really spends time making sure her clients get nothing short of her best work.

Vantha Tho

Vantha is from Long Beach CA and attended Colleen O'Hara Beauty Academy.  Vantha only assisted only a short while and her talents were realized immediately.  Vantha specialties are haircutting, haircoloring, highlighting and special occasion hairstyling (including weddings).  She is certified in Brazilian Blowout and the new Brazilian Blowout Zero (which she herself has on her own hair).  Vantha's clientele is quickly building and she is proving to be the fastest growing stylist AR Salon has had!

Lexi Kays

Originally from Montreal Quebec, Lexi is a graduate of Paul Mitchell.  Lexi started out as Arnil's assistant and after dedicating a lot of time learning and practicing she earned her way to fly on her own as a stylist.  She specializes in haircuts, haircolor and smoothing treatments (which include certifications in Brazilian Blowout and Brazilian Blowout Zero).  Lexi is also our in house French interpreter (ahead of Arnil of course).
